Frequently asked questions
Do I need a licensed painter for interior painting?
Since 2015, stand-alone contracts for internal painting in NSW don't need a contractor licence unless the painting is part of other home building work. Our partner painters are licensed and insured either way.
How many coats will I need?
Usually two top coats over a sound surface. A big colour change, new plaster or stains may need an undercoat first.
Can I stay in the house while it's painted?
Yes, most interior jobs are done room by room. Low-odour paints make it easier.
